Map View will not zoom or orient correctly

When using the navigation feature from my phone (ABRP keeps crashing on Android Auto) the map will only show the full route with north facing up. ABRP will not zoom in to my location showing a 3D view of my route. This is problematic when trying to navigate through a crowded area as part of a longer trip.
