Dear team,

I would like to ask if it’s possible to update the Czech highway maps before the Christmas season. Several new highway segments were opened in Czechia this past week:

  • D1 Highway: The section around Přerov has been completed.

  • D35 Highway: Multiple sections were opened, specifically near Vysoké Mýto and Opatovec.

Additionally, there are ongoing routing issues near the D8 (CZ) / A17 (DE) border. The app frequently suggests avoiding the highway even though there are no closures and all tunnels on the German side are open. This happens consistently and is quite frustrating for users.

      Mahde,

      I was under the impression that ABRP uses OSM as the mapping source, given that previous questions about updating information on maps has pointed the user at modifying the data themselves via OSM. I have done this myself, and a few weeks later the corrections have presumably made it through OSM checking and then in to ABRP.

      Given that OSM shows the roads above as being open and ABRP still shows the dashed (under construction?) my assumption is that the ABRP base map hasn’t been refreshed from OSM data recently. Is there some publishable information about where the data does come from and how often it would usually be refreshed (outside of obvious holiday periods)?

      Hello, any update? D35 is being opened for almost three months and ABRP is still navigating wrongly.

        We sent an email and we can only wait for response from our data provider regarding the update of the map. I have messaged them about any updates for this request.
