Map freezes or updates very late
ABRP map freezes or updates very late. When I switch to apple maps and/or google map, it works perfectly, which might mean this is no phone or carplay issue. My car is Peugeot e-208 GT 2025, my iphone 16 is on iOS 26.6 and ABRP version is 7.1.7 (5980).

Do you have location allowed in your iOS settings? Please go to iOS Settings → ABRP → Location → Always Allow and see if that resolves it.

Currently it is allowed while using the app but I will check with Always Allow setting and report back.

Let us know the results after you check with Always Allow. Someone else had an issue with frozen maps and this resolved the issue.

After Alway Allow is set, I did not had the issue. But this doe not necessarily mean that the problem is solved. I generally close Always Allow (for all apps) to prevent my phone battery drainage, and in that mode Apple Maps and Google Maps works, while ABRP does not. So for me the issue is still there.

We have noticed this being an issue for CarPlay and we will resolve it as soon as we can! If you can, please try using ABRP with Always Allow in the meantime until we resolve it.
