    Hello @ABRP User #2745873,

This is due to you marking an intermediate stop before the charger. The route has already decided to drive towards Penhold to reach the charger and by adding the waypoint, it only serves as a new route from there to the charger that follows the original plan. Is it a necessity for you to drive the way you intend to (if it saves time), because the app pretty much has made the route from your place to the charger to be the most optimal by driving past Penhold like this:

https://abetterrouteplanner.com/?plan_uuid=2-6a3d12ac-2fa1fd56417ab47dfc807908 (note that I removed the waypoint you had from the beginning and you can see how it looks now as intended)

Hi Mahde, thanks for your reply.

Yes, I added that waypoint to pinpoint exactly where the erroneous map data is causing the routing problem.

It’s true that it is possible to take the route you shared to reach the charger, but that is neither the fastest, shortest, nor simplest route. The route suggested by Google and OpenStreetMap is the most logical one: exiting directly off the QEII at Highway 42 and heading west to reach the charger.

The problem is the routing algorithm refuses to route westbound along highway 42 at that one point because the map indicates it as one-way eastbound. You can pick any two points east and west of that point on highway 42 and it will give you a nonsensical detour rather than routing in a straight line, like so:

      https://abetterrouteplanner.com/?plan_uuid=2-6a3d89fe-7afe01d6feffaf8ae8b9380f

The fact that there is a charger right at that point just reinforces the significance of the error for ABRP.

We get the information from OpenStreetMap and have made an update so that the section preventing the route to continue is two-way now (it was one-way previously). The changes will be visible in ABRP at the end of next week since we get updates from OpenStreetMap weekly.
