It should be possible to skip a (last/next) Waypoint: if you pass a waypoint like a charging station, but you decide not to charge and continue, a question window pops up reg. charging and covers most of the map on the iPhone app. If there is a junction right after the charger, ABRP wants to route you back to the charger instead of giving advice for the junction… . ABRP should ask: charge here? if yes, ABRP must zoom in the map to find the charger. If no, ABRP must skip this waypoint and navigate further-on. Had this situation quite often. Had to stop then, stop the navigation, stop the plan, remove the last waypoint from the list, re-plan, re-start navigation, to be able to receive directions for the further drive. Changed my planning routine, >not< to use chargers as waypoints, as the AC chargers are usually >not< directly along the route. So now I set the waypoint approx. one minute before the possible charger to give me time to decide whether using the oncoming charger or not. If I want to charge at the oncoming charger, I need to stop, add the charger or freely navigate there visually, which is difficult, as ABRP nerves with infos about the reached waypoint, no zooming in, no overview zooming (without zooming back after five seconds), so always a chaotic situation… . Must not be!
And yes - the automatic “waypoint jumper” works better than any other navi software, I have seen. So, it helps a lot, but in some situations you must be able to easily skip manually.
