Location updating severely lagging

While using the premium version with Apple CarPlay on my 2024 ev9 got line. I get periods where location does not update for several minutes. I missed a charging opportunity today because my current location would not log. I first noticed this last month on a road trip, it now seems to do this all the time. Phone is an iPhone 16 pro.

Where does this happen?
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

    Hello @ABRP User #1332549,

    Could you check if you have your location services on "Always allow” or when the app is being used? Try to switch it and see if you still experience the lagging.
