Location Update Frequency

About half the time, maybe even more, the frequency of location updates drops to about one per minute. The problem persists until I restart ABRP, it does not seem to “go away on its own.” This renders ABRP useless, dangerous even, especially in unfamiliar urban areas. This has been going on for at least two months and it seems to be getting worse. Over the weekend on a 30 minute drive ABRP froze at least three or four times.

I think there may be a relationship between changes to the Car Play display (switching between apps or switching between full screen and split screen) and the drop in the update rate, but I’m not positive.
