Live On-Site Charger Messages

A useful feature would be the ability for users to post temporary messages for a charging station.

On a recent trip, I was misled by the Ionity App. It showed that a charger was available, but when I arrived there were eight cars ahead of me in the queue.

With a temporary message feature, a user who is physically on-site (verified via GPS) could post a real-time update — for example, that a charger is out of order or that there is currently a queue of several cars.

To keep the information relevant and reliable, the message should automatically expire and be removed after a set number of hours (for example, 1–3 hours). This ensures that outdated information does not mislead other drivers.

Such a feature would help drivers make better decisions and avoid unnecessary waiting times.
