Live-Data via Generic API don´t work
Hello all,
i create a Token for the Generic API and transfer my car data via Home Assistant to the ABRP Server. It will work if i start my travel, but after around 5 minutes i will only see old data in the right corner for the SoC and the Icon for “Connect” will change to red “not connected”.
But my instants from Home Assistant send every 10 sec all the needed data to ABRP and also the changed SoC.
The next Problem is, if it work in the 5 minutes and the go to disconnet, it will switch to the SoC at the start of the travel.
Beginning: 75%
Before the diconnect will show: 73%
After the disconnect it go to 75%
What can i do to get a working connection?
HA send the Data every 10s

It looks like 9 min but i send every 10s the new date. And at this time the SoC has to be 73%. Like the next screenshot.
This is from Home Assistant. This are the data i send to ABRP.
I hope you can help me to get this work, that i have the correct data in the App to plan the travel correct.

Thanks for reporting! We are struggling to reproduce this, but let’s work to find out how together.
So when HA pushes an update every 10s, does it send the same utc timestamp every time if you don’t have new dat from the car? And after 5 minutes of this ABRP determines the connection to be “not connected”?

And when it goes back to 75% in your example, where do you see this? In the current SoC value on the map while driving with CarPlay or Android Auto? Or in the grey live data boxes on the phone?

I see it in the Android Auto view on my car Display and in the ABRP App on my phone.

It is correct, it send the last date the car update his information. Yes then ABRP say it have no connection to the car.

Looking at the data from your live data connection, the SoC does not seem to change very often. So in your example, starting at 75% and then ticking down to 73% is just our estimation from following the plan - the latest SoC reading from the car is still 75% - does that sound right?

I am not able to check this. I start with the short travel and the SoC go down to 73% and it was the same as the car show me. And then ABRP go up to 75%.
I only know the car show me 73% and also the HA Addon for the Skoda looks 73%. So I think it will publish 73% to ABRP.

Same for me with HomeAutomation.
It worked perfectly until around mid-February, after which the transfer no longer works without errors.

The only way I get it to work is to use the actual time in the comment and not the real time of the car. But this is not a solution because it look like the car is on travel every time.
Ich nutze in der URL aktuell die aktuelle Uhrzeit meines HA Systems, damit erscheint das Auto dauerhaft online und er verliert nicht die Verbindung.
Allerdings ist dies nicht die dauerhafte Lösung.
Vermute auch dass hier dann die Berechnungen von ABRP nicht gehen, da der Server ja immer die aktuelle Zeit bekommt, der Wert sich aber vom SoC sich nicht so oft ändert.
