Hello,

to circumvent the native OBD integration I tried to use the β€œgood old” Mi3 app for live data with the BMW i3s again. It used to work in October 2021 but today when i tried it, the power value is mixed up.

When I stand still, ABRP is showing the charging dialogue and when I am charging, it still thinks I am driving. So when I check my drive from today in past drives, it shows the whole drive as a charging session.

My guess is that the Mi3 app sends the values for power as they come from the BMS. So charging means positive number and driving a negative number.
But ABRP seems to interpreting this the other way around.

Is this something you want to fix or is this something the Mi3 App developer should fix?

In my mind the interpretation negative power (-0.87 kW for example) means driving and not charging seems more logical to me as I am pulling energy from the battery when driving and putting energy in when charging it.

Thanks and best regards
