On a recent trip I did, ABRP generated a fairly accurate live consumption estimate of ~170Wh/km for the trip to my destination across a couple days of driving, which generally worked well. Either at the end of that trip or the start of the return, ABRP updated the live consumption estimate to ~155Wh/km, which may have been accurate enough for the first segment due to good conditions/weather/roads/etc but proved too optimistic for the bulk of the return trip.
Despite this, ABRP never updated the live consumption estimate across the whole return trip so we were constantly undershooting our estimated arrivals at each charger, and we ended up having to charge about 5% past what ABRP suggested to make our destinations at the nominal speed despite the estimates being extremely accurate on the way out.
I'm not sure why the estimate changed, but making the live consumption less "sticky" would be helpful for accommodating this scenario. If I go through multiple charges in a day and I'm always coming up short, my expectation is that ABRP would live-update its estimates to account for this but it did not appear to be happening for us on our return trip.
