Letters duplicate when typing address

A very strange problem suddenly appeared in ABRP. When I try to enter an address, all letters get repeated! Example: I tried to type in Wolfsbergstrasse 10, Kranenburg. Result: Wollfsbberggstrtrasse 10, kkraneanenbuurg.
This of course makes the app practically unusable. This problem does not show up in any other apps that I have tried. My phone is an Android, LG G8 ThinQ.
