Laggy display in navigation mode

Is it normal that ABRP's map and position only refresh once per second in navigation mode? This causes the display to appear very laggy and choppy compared to Google Maps, for example. This issue occurs both on my phone and on my car's screen via Android Auto.

For me, it's unusable like it is.
