Laggy Android Auto behavior with Reduced Animations

if "reduce Animations" is turned on (which I do to speed up action-to-reaction times on pretty much any device I own) ABRP on Android Auto runs horribly laggy. It runs at about 3FPS when this option is on. This does not happen with Google maps or with any other Android Auto app for that matter. It also makes Android Auto laggy in general when ABRP is opened in this mode. What I mean by this is that switching from ABRP to any other app or running ABRP in multi app mode (with Spotify on the right and abrp on the left for example) is very laggy to the point where it looks like Android Auto is gonna crash. Again this does not happen with other apps and it does not happen with ABRP when Animations are enabled in the Phones Settings.

Tested it today with my phone from work (iPhone 14 with Ios 18). This behavior does not happen there despite reduce animations (or movement as they call it, because apple) being on

should have maybe mentioned: car is an ID.3 but I don't think it's specific to that vehicle
