Kia EV9 CarPlay map is too zoomed in

I'm not sure how the scaling works but the map is way too zoomed in for my taste (using 2D with North). And unfortunately there is no scaling/resolution setting in the app itself. Furthermore, the zooming resets when driving.

I like the Kia onboard navigation and Waze zoom levels way better. Perhaps it is since ABRP doesn’t handle the widescreen properly? If needed I can take some pictures to show the difference. I’ll do this once I'm on the road as to not show my home address.
