Keeps going into 2D mode

I plan a route and start driving. It starts off showing the route in 3D showing turns but after awhile it’ll go into 2D view showing full route. It still gives instructions where but without the 3D mode it’s impossible to use. I can’t get it back to 3D without rebooting my phone.

Any help please.

Where does this happen?
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

    While driving can you go to the map mode and see which one you have selected there?
    and also once it changes to the 2D mode could you do the same and let us know whether that changes on its own?
