Issues with app while driving since update

Since I updated my app (yesterday?), I have had difficulty with the Apple CarPlay showing the route. The voice navigation works, but when I go to open the screen display on the Kia, it flashes white and will not stay on the navigation screen. I am driving from Washington State to Colorado, so I am driving through numerous locations I am not familiar with.

I have done this drive before in my mini cooper and the screen/carplay interface worked well, but I’m sleep deprived and struggling to use ABRP in a functional way. 😬
