Iphone13pro - usb - VW e-golf car audio - no voice guidance

Since I have bought an OBDLink and see live data from my VW-Egolf i want to start using Abetterrouteplanner instead of Waze. I have an Iphone13pro - connected to my VW e-golf by usb - I have to set my car audio to USB or no voice guidance. But with this setting, the music from my iphone has to play! As soon as i pauze it, also the sound of the voice guidance is gone.

When listening to radio, Iphone connected to the usb of the car, no voice guidance.
For Bluetooth, the same, have to listen to bluetooth music to have voice guidance.

When instead of abetterrouteplanner i use Waze, i can (on the phone/app) select what audio to use and it works! The voice guidance works while listening to radio or to cd or usb music!
Can this be fixed in abetterrouteplanner also!? Or add the audio output selection from within the app?
