iOS version 7.0.1 hangs on start when OBD2 plug is already in use by another app

I have OBD2 configured to connect to the car. This has worked fine for a long time, also along with e.g. Car Scanner concurrently getting data from the same OBD2 plug. With the new app verison, if Car Scanner is already connected, ABRP refuse to start, just showing the splash screen (I waited it out for >1 minute). If I disconnect Car Scanner, ABRP starts fine. Looks like there is lacking a timeout on failed OBD2-connect on app startup.
