Increased phone battery consumption with ABRP active

2023 Ford Mach-E, Android Auto SoC consumption activated

I subscribed to premium to test out the new features and live consumption integration on a recent trip. Using just the Android Auto SoC live data connection I noticed the battery on my pixel 7 was getting drained at about twice the normal rate of my normal drain using Android Auto and Google Maps for navigation.

Is this a known issue you might expect to improve or any information I can provide to help?

I’m planning on trying the OBD2 connection for live data as well but didn’t realize your implementation was for BLE only so need to swap ODB2 adapters. I normally use an obdlink MX+ so are there any plans to implement a non-BLE bluetooth connection?
