Incorrect SoC value in ABRP for the on-board computer

Hello,

I've noticed that the SoC displayed in ABRP differs from the one shown in my MG 5. I've attached two photos; since I'm new to this, I'm not sure if this is normal or if something is set incorrectly.

Where does this happen?
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

    Hi,

    It appears that the MG5 has not only two (gross SOC and net SOC) but also another one, the cockpit SOC. This was also the case with my previous Opel Ampera-e (sister of Chevrolet Bolt EV).

    Cockpit SOC and net SOC are not always identical, depending on the vehicle model, but may vary slightly depending on the battery charge level.

    ABRP obviously uses the slightly lower net SOC for the MG5 which differs from the slightly higher cockpit SOC.

    Hi

    With OBD it’s normal with a 1-3% different for the SoC.
