Inconsistent and terrible route choices

I've used ABRP for over a year and two 1800 miles trips with only minor issues. Now it's giving me terrible results. The route choices are completely illogical. Instead of choosing a direct route from A to B it's sending me off interstate highways onto secondary roads that require extra mileage and even take me into city centers. This is happening when ABRP could have chosen an interstate highway with a direct line route with no construction or delays. Something is not right with this. I can generate a much better plan simply by looking at a map.
