Impossible Plan: what's happenig?

When planning to cross the Strait of Messina from Sicily to Calabria, Villa San Giovanni, on the way back from vacation, the route suggests only passing through the Aeolian Islands. This is clearly the wrong choice. This didn't happen on the planned outward journey. Thank you.

I'll add some more information about the problem highlighted in the next use. The next morning, after turning off my phone, I asked again to plan the route from Novara di Sicilia to Rome. The route suggested crossing the Strait of Messina. It also suggested a shorter alternative route. Intrigued, I asked to set it, and lo and behold, the proposed route suggested a ferry ride of over 7 hours, even though it was shorter than the driving time. It was not possible to re-plan the previous route by choosing the different alternative proposed. In Messina, at Villa San Giovanni, I tried again, but this time the proposal was to reach Naples by boat. To get the correct information, I had to re-plan the trip from Villa San Giovanni, that is, after arriving in Calabria and disembarking from the ferry.

I'm sorry, but I can't reproduce the situation, and there's no trace of the plan in my history. Viewing my trip calendar, I only find the correct route, which I initially set at departure, but which I then attempted to modify several times (I also asked to plan just the Messina to Villa San Giovanni route, getting the error described, but there's no trace of this simulation either). I don't understand why the link sent doesn't work; it was generated using the "report a bug" button. If there's anything else I can do, I'm happy to help and will try again, but I won't be returning to Sicily anytime soon. Thanks for your support.

Yes, this is the correct plan I saw in my first simulations at the beginning of August and also on the 10th. But on August 9th and 10th, in this case after choosing the alternative route, the route changed, offering me boarding from Milazzo, passing through Vulcano and Lipari, and then arriving seven hours later in Tropea. I'm sorry, but I can't get the same behavior; perhaps the problem has been solved. In any case, I confirm that I immediately used the report a bug button (in fact, I used it several times) and that on the last occasion I sent the link generated by the app itself. Thank you.
