ID.7. v5.6 Head-Up display stats blank

Using ABRP and Apple CarPlay in the VW ID.7 with software version 5.6 seems to blank out the drive statistics in the heads-up display.

The navigation works, the large visualizations work fine, the small indications in the lower hud also work fine. But if there are no instruction for a while the destination statistics appear only for a short while to blank out and stay blank until the next instruction.

I have tried using Google Maps and that does not seem to have the same problem. I only tried it for a little while but it seems to behave differently as-in it always shows the next instruction instead of showing the statistics. Will check it again later this week.
