Icons for selection of map-style and volume as well as speed signs are hidden behind the route information window in ABRP on carlinkit ultra

Where does this happen?

Hi, I found out that the layout is different (and ok) if I use the split-screen function on the carlinkit Ultra, even when the ABRP part of the split-screen fills almost the entire display. See the attached screen-shots.

Here’s a video. The problem starts after you hit “Drive” (=”Fahren”). Sometimes you can shortly see a speed-limit sign and the icons for choosing the “Map mode” and for choosing the volume of the sound, before they are hidden behind the window with the current SoC etc. Touching the screen somewhere on the map does not bring up those icons in the upper right corner as it does on my smartphone or tablet.

    Hi

Can you add a screen shot of how it looks?

Hi, now in Version 7.0.2 (5763) things are only a little better: Speed sign is now visible but Icons for selection of map-style and volume are still hidden by route information window.

Why are these icons/the speed signs displayed in the lower left instead of the lower right of the window as they are on other devices?

My colleague is trying to fix so the placements of the components will be better. Our designer will also try to make some changes so it look better. Can you also use the screen in landscape mode? If so can you see how it look with our app?

No, it is not possible to turn the screen to landscape mode while driving. It is possible to turn the screen into landscape mode when the car is parked. However, as soon as you start driving, the screen automatically turns back to portrait mode. Hence ABRP in landscpae mode is basically of no use for this constellation.
