iCar Pro 4.0 won't connect...

Plugged the iCar Pro into my ‘24 Kia Ev6 and red light goes on indicating Blue Tooth 4.0 is broadcasting. But it won’t connect with my ABRP. Not visible. Also not visible in my iPhone BT settings. Sugggestions?

Where does this happen?

    Hi

The OBD needs to use BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and not Bluetooth so that’s maybe why it’s not showing up in the list. You can read here which OBDs that is workingChoosing an OBD device

Thanks Linda. Actually this particular iCar

Pro model is the exact one that is recommended on the ABRP list. That’s why I’m so surprised that the ABRP app cannot recognize it. And I might be wrong, but no matter what type of Bluetooth device is involved it should show up on an iPhone’s list of Bluetooth devices.

It can be something wrong with the OBD, that had happen to other users. Have you updated the OBDs firmware?

My iPhone won’t recognize the OBD so as far as I know that makes it impossible to update the firmware. However, I might have fixed my problem. I deleted and reinstalled the ABRP app. After that, the app appeared to recognize the OBD and I selected it. I think I’m now connected. Thanks for your previous help.
