Can't connect OBD

I can't seem to connect to the odb2 dongle. Not sure if my dongle supports BLE, but since I am using an Android phone, I understand it should use plain Bluetooth, not BLE. is this correct? The dongle product is Konnwai. Should it work or it is simply not good enough and I should get another one from the list of recommended dongles on abrp page?

Where does this happen?
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

    Hi

    The OBD needs to use BLE and as you can see there is a red X instead of the green marker after BLE. This OBD does not use BLE so you need to use another one. You can read here which ones we recommend Link your vehicle via an OBD device
