Click at the below symbol at the departure waypoint to change the date.
When you have made a plan click at Save at the bottom of the plan to save it.

You need to make a plan first, then you can save it. Click at Plan and you will see Save at the bottom.

No Linda that does not work - I hit plan - and then tried options and there is no “SAVE” option anywhere.

Are you on the webpage? This looks more like the app version since you can expand it on the top and not scroll it. If you expand it you will get the whole plan.
