Home charging / private charger support

Hello ABRP Support Team,

I am a paying ABRP Premium user and I would like to submit a feature request regarding home charging.

At the moment, it is not possible (neither in the mobile app nor on the web) to explicitly define a private / home charger (e.g. wallbox at home) as a charging location. There is no clear way to tell ABRP that the destination (home) has guaranteed charging available, nor to define its charging power.

From a user perspective, this would be very helpful for:

• route planning towards home without unnecessary last DC charging stops

• clearer distinction between destinations with and without charging

• more transparent planning behavior (instead of relying only on Arrival SOC assumptions)

Requested functionality (proposal):

• Ability to define a Home location with private charging

• Optional setting of:

  • AC charging power (kW)

  • efficiency / losses

• Clear indication that charging is available at destination

• Settings synced across web and mobile app

I understand that Arrival SOC can be used as a workaround, but an explicit “Home charging” setting would significantly improve usability and clarity, especially for daily users with private wallboxes.
