I use ABRP with my Chevrolet Equinox EV connected through Enode. One limitation compared to the built-in Google Maps navigation is that ABRP cannot automatically trigger battery preconditioning before DC fast charging. A very useful improvement would be a manual preconditioning reminder feature. Example workflow: ABRP detects an upcoming DC fast charger stop 20–45 minutes before arrival, ABRP shows a notification: “Battery preconditioning recommended. Open native vehicle navigation to this charger now.” This would greatly improve charging performance for vehicles where OEM navigation controls preconditioning, especially GM Ultium vehicles like the Equinox EV. Even without direct API access to vehicle thermal systems, this reminder feature would make ABRP much more practical for real-world road trips. Thank you!
