Average consumption planning ≠ reference consumption ≠ consumption

Planning gives 330 Wh/km while reference consumption is at 175 Wh/km@110 km/h.
As a result excessive number of stops which made it uninviting to use.
Drove the outward route on Google Maps on self-conceived (5) stops for trailers.
I drove this route with the Renault Megane EV60 (2023) + Easy Caravanning TakeOff. ABRP via automotive (but not on).
My consumption was under 200Wh/km as expected.
Configuration: small trailer.
Unfortunately, ABRP planning apparently didn't learn anything because of this.
Tried the return route with ABRP, but unfortunately the route froze after only 20 km.
Continued driving on Google Maps.
Planning is still using 330 Wh/km now.

Thanks for reporting, let’s try to figure this one out. So if I understand correctly, you are driving your Megane with ABRP Automotive (in the infotainment), and you were driving with a small trailer (physically and configured and ABRP)?

Klopt. De smalle trailer betrof een vouwwagen Easy Caravanning TakeOf.
Praktijk 200W/km zorgde voor 5 laadstops naar Oostenrijk.
De planning met configuratie “een kleine aanhangwagen” verwachte 9 laadstops.
Dit was niet “ingeleerd” maar standaard.
Het vlakje met auto bij instellingen was grijs waardoor referentieverbruik op 175 Watt/km stond maar planning gaf 330 W/km waardoor er geen motivatie was om ABRP onderweg te gebruiken tijdens de rit.
Gisteren de configuratie van auto + kleine aanhangwagen verandert naar “iets anders”.
Hierdoor werd het referentieverbruik wel correct overgenomen in de planning, waardoor nu de planning wel netjes 5 laadstops weergeeft op de route naar Oostenrijk.
Ik vermoed dat er toch iets misgaat in de berekening van de configuratie “kleine aanhangwagen” van referentieverbruik naar de routeplanning.
Voor mij persoonlijk is het probleem opgelost door de andere configuratie “iets anders” te kiezen.

Our assumption on a “small trailer” is likely a lot more pessimistic than the seemingly very efficient trailer you are using. Are you getting 200 Wh/km with your Megane+Trailer - if so at what average speed?
This is the kind of “small trailer” we assume - I guess that may be quite big according to Dutch standards :)

Maximaal 100 km/uur.
Ik hoor meer klachten over het plannen met profiel aanhangwagen.
