Frequent Android Auto crashes

Hi, during a trip with navigating through Android Auto the app crashes every 10min or so with the message "something went wrong…", then it restarts itself and continues the navigation and finds the OBD connection again. Still a bit unfortunate when it crashes just before important turns.

Android 11, App version 4.2.3, Kia e Niro, Vlinker MC+. Phone screen is off during the ride and connected via cable to the car. Someone in the App store reviews reported the same.
