Freezing in Android Auto

Bug Reports

App regularly freezes when connected wirelessly (via adapter) to Android Auto. I've found that cycling to a different navigation app (specifically Google Maps) then back to ABRP can sometimes unfreeze it and resume trip status.

Where does this happen?
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

    It sounds like this could be a background location permission or power save issue. Can you try allowing ABRP to get location in the background and turn off any power saving for ABRP?

      Switched from Smart Mode to Allow Background Activity in the Battery Usage of the app’s settings (Android). No repeat of the issue so far. Potentially resolved for me.
