Freeway routing?

It would be good to have a way to tell it to prefer freeways. I’m planning a trip from San Diego to Boise, and I’d much rather drive the extra couple of hours to go by way of Salt Lake City rather than driving hundreds of miles of 2-lane roads through the desert
