Finding the current location takes minutes
In around 50% of the cases ABRP needs minutes to find out where I currently am. Right now I am in a certain location and ABRP thinks that I am still at the location that I have left 6h ago. When I start route guidance it knows where I am but as soon as I want to have a route only calculated and see alternative routes it puts me back to the wrong location and calculates from there. When I'm pressing the location button it moves where I really am. So it has the correct GPS data but somehow not when I want to preview the route.

Hey, one additional hint, you can toggle the position we use, when planning from “my position”:
Make sure it uses the phone location, if the car location is outdated, or you are somewhere else than the car. It appears you planned from your vehicle position, according to the logs. The idea here is, to plan from your car position, when you are in a city for example, but parked somewhere else, and you already want to check your trip before arriving at the car. Planning from your phone location would result in weird plans sometimes. So If you want to plan from the vehicle position, it uses the last telemetry value we got from your car, while phone position uses your current phones position.

Hello @ABRP User #2859542,
The location is sent from the position your car last sent through live data. It gets updated when you navigate in ABRP or connect to CarPlay/Android Auto.

Hello Mahde,
Thank you! Unfortunately the update takes up to several minutes. Only yesterday I waited three minutes for a standard 40km route, nothing fancy. It seems to get stuck. When I cancel calculating and start it again it oftentimes works. It has nothing to do with location because when I switch to Google maps it comes immediately.

Can you send me a video recording of when you create a route too see alternative routes and then the app putting you back to the wrong location? You mentioned this happening for you aswell.
