Filter / Limit Search to "Geographically Reasonable" Results

When searching for a destination or POI the results are often full of “noise” due to highly unlikely results. For example, I’m in western Washington state in the US, but if I search for “london” the first result I get is London in the UK. I don’t get any nearby locations until about the 10th result.

It would be nice if results could be initially limited to, say the same continent, or a radius of a few charges, or something that would be more likely to return useful results.
