So I travelled 4000+ km in this car this holiday with the help of ABRP connected via OBD2. The planner is completely wrong about the consumption, the faster I traveled the wronger it was. Even at 110 km/h, which seems to be where it gets its medium value, the calculus are slightly off, always underestimated.
At 110 km/h, it is especially true if the road goes up/down hills, like A5 in France. At 120 or more, it's the worst, I had to add 20% (80% instead of 60% planned) over the estimated battery percentage to arrive at destination with the correct battery %age.
Strangest thing is that, at some point, decided to go with manual average consumption instead of calculated via vehicule data and it didn't solve the problem. Calculated by ABRP was 169 Wh/km, I went manual for this info and got up to 240 Wh/km and the planner was still way off, like it wouldn't take the manual information into account.
I was so pissed that in the end, I just used ABRP to get an overall plan and used Apple Maps and my own calculations to travel the last 1000km, and it went perfectly well, so I assume the algorithm must not be that crazy to find.
Plus, it seems that ABRP doesn't take into account climate control, in this car it is 1 kWh when ON, if it's not taken into account, it would be nice to have a button to enter the value manually.
