"Few but long" charging stops doesn't give fewer stops but longer trip

I like the option to be able to prioritize fewer charging stops over quickest arrival. However, sometimes it just gives you a worse route with the same amount of charging stops.

"Few but long" charging stops route:

As you can see, the "Few But Long" gives the same amount of charging stops, but the route is longer and slower.

Which means I need to test a route with both options to see what works best, instead of just trusting that it will find the fastest route with also the fewest stops.
