Preferred units not applied in AAOS app

Hi Everyone I have a Equinox EV and when I use the app in my EV it shows in KM but when I used the app on my iPhone it shows in miles I have signed out and signed in again multiples times all the settings on my phone are correct but when I sign into the app on my Equinox EV none of the settings that are in my phone transfer over. Also the time when I am getting directions it in correct as well.
