Enode connections to XPENG G6 and energy app
When I connect my energy company app to my car (Xpeng G6) that also uses Enode the connection with ABRP goes offline.
I think this is a problem of Enode. But it will be more of a problem as more and more Enode connections will be added.
- Where does this happen?
- ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

We got this answer from Enode:
“After consulting directly with Xpeng, we've identified the root cause: Xpeng's API currently does not support read-only scopes, which means the end user's vehicle can only maintain one active connection at a time.
This means end users who need to connect their Xpeng vehicle to both their home energy provider and ABRP will need to choose one or the other. When a new connection is established, it disconnects the previous one.
We've escalated this use case to the Xpeng team for consideration in future API updates, but unfortunately at this time, Xpeng can only support a single active connection per vehicle.
We understand this is not ideal for end users who want to use multiple services simultaneously. We'll continue to monitor for any updates from Xpeng regarding multi-connection support.”

Hi
I got this from Enode:
“We're looking into this issue. I can confirm that the user appears to have been disconnected from their home energy company once they connected to ABRP. This is unexpected behavior - connecting to a second client should not affect existing connections.
I'm working with engineering to investigate the root cause.”

Hi
We have not heard about this before so I need to make a ticket so Enode can look into it.
