Description: I am currently working on a workaround to get the Leapmotor C10 fully supported via OBD on ABRP. Since the C10 does not have a native profile yet, community testing has shown that "spoofing" the car as an MG4 allows for successful communication. My goal is to port the MG4 communication protocol over to a custom profile for the C10.
The Problem: Testing and fine-tuning OBD PIDs using only a smartphoneβs display and keypad is extremely cumbersome. Manually typing complex formulas and managing connection tests on a mobile UI is slow and prone to errors.
The Proposal: It would be a massive quality-of-life improvement to have access to the "Advanced Settings" -> "OBD PID Editor" directly through the ABRP Web Interface (PC).
Benefits:
Faster Iteration: Developers and advanced users could easily copy and paste formulas directly from documentation or spreadsheets on their PC.
Remote Testing: Launching connection tests from a desktop while monitoring the vehicle's response would streamline the debugging process.
Community Contributions: Easier editing tools will encourage more users to help map PIDs for new, unsupported EVs like the Leapmotor C10.
Having a "desktop-to-car" workflow for PID editing would significantly accelerate the expansion of supported vehicles on the platform. Thanks for considering this!
