Display of route changes between light and dark mode every few seconds

While I have any route selected, every 10 or so seconds the screen refreshes, first to a light background, then the next refresh changes it to a dark background. It then changes back to the light background etc. etc. What is causing this?

Where does this happen?
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

    Can you tell us what time of the day that happened? do you have the dark light mode set to follow the system settings?

      Hi. It suddenly started happening a week back and had been doing it at all times of day. This is only (so far) used on my home laptop for near-future route planning. I checked that setting - it was ‘auto’. I have now changed it to ‘light’ because this is always done just at home - not on the SatNav screen (Tesla). I did not know about this setting before your reply. Thanks.
