Device (Xiaomi 11T Pro) overheating when in AndroidAuto

I’ve seen a few posts from years ago mentioning this issue, but it still seems to persist.

I ran a few tests with ABRP both open and closed (using another navigation app to compare) just to rule out any quirks with my phone. Every time I have ABRP running, my phone starts heating up rapidly and overheats within minutes.

It seems like Android Auto keeps turning the screen on. If I ensure the screen stays off by manually turning it off whenever it turns on, then the phone takes longer to overheat, but if I leave it on, it starts freezing within about 10 minutes due to the heat.

Please fix this as soon as possible as this issue makes the app barely usable on long trips.
