Detailed view missing

Recently the detailed view has disappeared and the mode button that would give me the ability to reselect it is also missing when connected to Android auto on my phone display. When disconnected from Android auto the mode button returns, but there is still no options to change from basic view to detailed view.

I really like the graph in the detailed view as I can very quickly see how my drive is performing compared to the planned route.
