Unscheduled Detours in France

On the Pavia-Barcelona route in the border area between Italy and France (Autoestrada dei Fiori), ABRP does not stick to the planned destination and constantly suggests detours onto secondary mountain or coastal roads, setting as the route’s endpoint towns that are completely unrelated to the planned route. It made these errors several times, and “ghost roads” also appeared.

    Show the ghost roads and other detours as markings so they are easier to see.

        Estos fallos también ocurrieron en la misma ruta pero de ida, es decir Caldes d’Estrac-Fossarmato (Pavía) y en la misma zona. Hicimos otra ruta Pavía-Como-Pavía y no tuve problemas.

        Por la características del terreno en la ruta con problemas, ( cortados, acantilados, túneles) pudiera ser que el GPS perdiera posición en algún momento, pero no justifica perder el destino final en una ruta guardada.
