Destination arrival SoC

I'm always confused about the destination arrival SoC. If I drive to the Grand Hotel in Basel and there's a charging station there, it's okay to arrive with 1%. But if I drive to a lake in Kazakhstan and the nearest charging station is 100 km away, I need to arrive with a SoC that allows me to reach the next charging station. Therefore, the destination arrival SoC should always be such that I can reach a charging station again.

    It would be very useful to have the option to override the arrival SOC in specific cases, for example when driving home where a charger is available.

    I usually set a 20% arrival SOC, which has helped me many times when arriving in an unfamiliar large city, so I don’t have to immediately search for a charger but still have some reserve. However, when returning home, ABRP still assumes I need to arrive with 20%. In reality, at home I could arrive with a much lower SOC since I can immediately plug in.

    My solution to this problem would be to plan a route to the lake in Kazakhstan and then from there to a charger (or to bump up the destination SoC, but usually it is easier to just pick the charger I want to use on the way out) or to plan the trip as a round trip.

    I think the challenge in implementing a feature like this is that there are so many assumptions that have to be made, for example: your return route, are you retracing your steps or will you go in some other direction from the lake; or, will you be driving at the lake.
