Degraded SoC estimation accuracy when going over steep hills

This has been a consistent issue but recently it seems to have gotten worse. ABRP struggles a lot with estimating consumption when going over steep hills. It’s going to be overly optimistic when climbing the hill and overly pessimistic when going down the hill. If the estimator is just not precise enough, could we get a min-max estimate instead?

    I was looking at your data and first of all noticed that the Tronity updates for your vehicle while your drive are mostly old or stuck values of SoC. Have you noticed this or is it mostly an issue in My Drives?

      Hey, sorry for the very late response. Yeah eGolf stops reporting data when you’re driving. Sometimes, the connection between the car and vw servers is also severed for multiple days due to a bug in vws code.
      When I’m driving, I get live data using an OBDLink CX dongle.

      As an aditional note, abrp seems to be strugling with estimating the destination soc in cold temperatures. I’m not quite sure about why but maybe it’s the heater that’s throwing it off? It’s always overly optimistic and then slowly lowering the destination soc. Today, the prediction was off by almost 10%. It would have probably been off by even more if I didn’t slow down and enable eco mode.
