Poor choice of routes

I've had a hunch for a long time, but today I'm sure: ABRP makes lousy routes that prioritize highways for no good reason.

I enclose proof in the form of two screenshots of a trip I'm taking today. The first with ABRP in default setting and the second with highway deselected.

The highway is slower and uses 46% more power!

Why did you choose such an environmentally and customer unfriendly routing?
