Daily wrong estimated time of arrival

Everyday on morning commute, the estimated time of arrival between Kumue and Auckland City (New Zealand) is always 20-40 minutes later than Google Map, which usually within 5-10 minutes of accuracy.

1) Is there a way / setting to improve the estimation?

2) If the estimated time is so far off, does it mean that the planned route is not the most efficient as suggested?
