Current position suddenly hanging, no longer updated

Even after iPhone reboot and validation of TRONITY online connectivity and TRONITY (app) display current position correctly - but ABRP iPhone app and CarPlay no longer update current position. It’s hanging.

Where does this happen?
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

    I have regularly exactly the same issue on my iPhone 17 pro, iOS 26.6, as well as on Apple CarPlay. Version and built of ABRP are the same as in the initial comment above.

    This is totally unusable!

    I was initially wondering if it was due to a poor or missing network connection, but it also happens with full 4G or 5G connection as well.

    I also thought it was due to my continuously charging iPhone, which could potentially heat too much, but it also happens when the iPhone is not charging.
